Idyllwild and Pine Cove precincts

One quick note, the Idyllwild and Pine Cove precincts have been counted and are included in the results shown in the previous two posts.

Riverside County Measures L and M

Well, the Board couldn't stop the approval of Measure L, the one endorsed and support by the Riverside County Sheriff's Association. However, the board's alternate measure, M, was also approved, but its "Yes" votes were greater than the pro-L supporters.

Morning after: local results

Here is the latest vote count for CD 45, Cal AD 64 and HUSD. About 87 to 90 percent of total precincts have been counted. I assume the only doubt now is the final vote tally. Looks like Congresswoman Bono Mack and Assemblyman Nestande were re-elected.

Joe Wojcik returns to the HUSD board accompanied by fellow HTA endorsees, HORACIO ''ROSS'' VALENZUELA, and Paul Bakkom, who defeated 20 year incumbent Phylis Petri.

Local races: CD 45 and CA AD 64 and HUSD

This is the latest update from the Riverside Register of Voter's office. I'll provide the results for CD 45, Cal AD 64 and HUSD.

This is about 8,000 more votes than reported at midnight. Keep in mind the 2006 election, an off-year race, had about 164,000 ballots submitted. In 2008, a Presidential eleciton, nearly 266,000 voters cast a ballot in this race.
